Sync your local calendar with ours

If you have a Google account you can get all the SMS events to show on your calendar. Here are the instructions.

  1. Right click this link and select Copy link location.
  2. Open Google Calendar on your device.
  3. In the left pane, at the bottom next to Other Calendars click +.
  4. From the menu that appears, click From URL.
  5. Paste here the URL that you copied in 1 above.

Users of Android phones, who sync their mobile calendar with their online Google calendar need to carry out further steps, to get all calendars showing. Here are the steps for earlier Android versions:

    1. After importing the SMS calendar into your personal Google online calendar, start up the calendar app on your Android smart phone.

    1. Open the menu icon – 3 lines at top left.

    1. Tap Accounts (all calendars).

    1. There is another menu icon next to your Google account – three horizontal dots. Tap this.

    1. All calendars in your online account will be displayed. You will also see Events and Tasks if you use these, and SMS Calendar.

    1. Tap SMS Calendar to turn this on.

    1. Return to the main calendar display, and you will see all the SMS events.

For later Android versions (this is based on version 10):

    1. Tap the Calendar app.

    1. Open the menu – 3 lines top left.

    1. Locate your Google account – identified by your email address.

    1. Ensure that Calendar is ticked.

    1. Open the Settings app and tap Accounts.

    1. Scroll to the email address that identifies your Google account. Tap this.

    1. Tap Account sync. You will see a list of all the apps that you can sync. Ensure that Calendar is turned on.

Subscribe using Outlook.com

To subscribe using your Outlook.com calendar you can click on the link above. You will be taken to Outlook.com in a separate browser tab and you may be asked to log in to your account.
