Starting with Brahms’s Requiem in 1923, Salisbury Musical Society has performed a wide variety of choral works over the years. Records from the pre-war period are incomplete, but you can see a full list of the choir’s concerts since 1948.

Vaughan Williams A Sea Symphony

Salisbury Musical Society will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ralph Vaughan Williams by performing his much-loved Sea Symphony.

The choir will be joined by its long-standing partners the Chelsea Opera Group Orchestra, and conducted by the Cathedral’s Director of Music David Halls.

Soloists: Eleanor Dennis (soprano) and Dominic Sedgwick (baritone)

Vaughan Williams Overture The Wasps will also be performed.
